মিডিয়া অফিস প্রতিষ্ঠানটি ইসলাম ও মুসলিমদের স্বার্থ সমর্থনের লক্ষ্যে রাষ্ট্রের রাজনৈতিক মিডিয়া কৌশল প্রণয়ন ও বাস্তবায়নের দায়িত্বে নিয়োজিত। অভ্যন্তরীণভাবে এটি একটি শক্তিশালী ও সংহত ইসলামী সমাজ গঠনে কাজ করে, মন্দ ও ক্ষতিকর বিষয়ের খণ্ডন করে এবং যা ভালো তা প্রতিষ্ঠিত করে। বৈদেশিক বিষয়ে এটি শান্তি ও যুদ্ধ উভয় অবস্থাতেই ইসলামের প্রচার করে, এমনভাবে যা ইসলামের মহত্ত্ব, এর ন্যায়বিচার এবং এর সেনাবাহিনীর শক্তি তুলে ধরে, এবং মানবরচিত ব্যবস্থার দুর্নীতি ও নিপীড়ন এবং এর সেনাবাহিনীর দুর্বলতা উন্মোচন করে।

The institution of the Media Office is responsible for drawing up and executing the political media strategy for the State in order to support the interests of Islam and the Muslims. Internally, it works to build an Islamic society that is strong and cohesive, and it refutes that which is malicious while confirming that which is good. In external affairs it is to promote Islam during peace and war, in a manner that explains the greatness of Islam, its justice and the strength of its army, and expose the corruption and oppression of manmade system and the weakness of its army.

মিডিয়া ইসলামের দাওয়াহ এবং রাষ্ট্রের জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়গুলোর একটি। এটি জনসাধারণের স্বার্থসংশ্লিষ্ট সেই বিষয়গুলোর অন্তর্ভুক্ত নয় যা জনকল্যাণ বিভাগের কর্তৃত্বাধীন। বরং এটি রাষ্ট্রের যেকোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানের মতোই একটি স্বতন্ত্র প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে সরাসরি খলীফার সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত।
