যুদ্ধ বিভাগ সেনাবাহিনী ও পুলিশের সাথে সম্পর্কিত সকল বিষয়, চুক্তি, দায়িত্ব, সামরিক সরঞ্জাম এবং এ ধরনের বিষয়গুলোর দায়িত্বে থাকে। এছাড়াও তারা সামরিক কলেজ, অভিযান এবং সেনাবাহিনীর জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় ইসলামী সংস্কৃতি ও সাধারণ সংস্কৃতির সাথে সম্পর্কিত সবকিছু, পাশাপাশি যুদ্ধ ও তার প্রস্তুতির সাথে সংশ্লিষ্ট সবকিছুর দায়িত্ব পালন করে, এবং এই বিভাগের প্রধানকে জিহাদের আমীর বলা হয়।

On that the Prophet (phuh) said , "Throw, and I am with all of you” And Muslim reported that: . أَنَّ فُ قَيْمًا اللَّخْمِيَّ قَالَ لِعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ: تَخْتَل فُ بَ يْنَ هَذَيْنِ الْغَرَضَيْنِ وَأَنْتَ « لَمْ أُعَانِيهِ، قَالَ كَبِيرٌ يَشُقُّ عَلَيْكَ، قَالَ عُقْبَةُ: لَوْلاَ كَلاَمٌ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ الْحَارِثُ: فَ قُلْتُ لاِبْنِ شَمَاسَةَ: وَمَا ذَاكَ ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ قَالَ: مَنْ عَلِمَ الرَّمْيَ ثُمَّ تَ رَكَهُ فَ لَيْسَ » مِنَّا، أَوْ قَدْ عَصَى .

“Allah, Most High, will cause three persons to enter Paradise for one arrow: the maker when he has a good motive in making it, the one who shoots it, and the one who hands it; so shoot and ride, but your shooting is dearer to me than your riding. Everything with which a man amuses himself is vain except three (things): a man's training of his horse, his playing with his wife, and his shooting with his bow and arrow. If anyone abandons archery after becoming an adept through distaste for it, it is a blessing he has abandoned; or he said: for which he has been ungrateful”.

আল্লাহর সেনাবাহিনী গড়ে তোলা আবশ্যক হওয়ার প্রমাণ: আল্লাহ (সুব.) সূরা আত-তাওবায় বলেছেন: "নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ মুমিনদের থেকে তাদের জীবন ও তাদের সম্পদ এই বিনিময়ে ক্রয় করে নিয়েছেন যে, তাদের জন্য জান্নাত রয়েছে। তারা আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ করে, ফলে তারা হত্যা করে ও নিহত হয়। এটি তাঁর উপর একটি সত্য প্রতিশ্রুতি, যা তাওরাত, ইনজীল ও কুরআনে রয়েছে। আর আল্লাহর চেয়ে বেশি নিজের প্রতিশ্রুতি পূর্ণকারী কে আছে? অতএব, তোমরা যে বেচাকেনা করেছ তাতে আনন্দিত হও। আর এটিই মহাসাফল্য। [এরা হলো] তাওবাকারী, ইবাদতকারী, প্রশংসাকারী, (তাঁর পথে) ভ্রমণকারী, রুকূ‘ ও সিজদাকারী, সৎকাজের আদেশকারী ও অসৎকাজের নিষেধকারী এবং আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমারেখার হেফাজতকারী। আর মুমিনদের সুসংবাদ দাও।" (আত-তাওবা ৯:১১১-১১২) আল্লাহ (সুব.) শুধু জীবন ও সম্পদ দান করাকেই সুসংবাদপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হওয়ার জন্য যথেষ্ট করেননি, বরং তিনি আরও যোগ করেছেন যে, তারা তাওবাকারী, ইবাদতকারী, রোযা পালনকারী, সালাত আদায়কারী, সৎকাজের আদেশ ও অসৎকাজের নিষেধকারী এবং আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমারেখার হেফাজতকারী হবে; তারা তার উপর দৃঢ়ভাবে অটল থাকবে, সেগুলো লঙ্ঘন করবে না, বরং সেগুলো থেকে নিরাপদ দূরত্ব বজায় রাখা হবে। আল্লাহ (সুব.) বলেছেন।

The evidence regarding the necessary culturing of the Army: Allah (swt) said in the chapter of Al-Tawba: “Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment; [Such believers are] the repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allah], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah. And give good tidings to the believers.” (TMQ 111-112). Allah (swt) did not make it sufficient to give one’s life and money to be from those who are given glad tidings, but rather added that they are repenters, worshippers, fasting, praying, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil and observing the limits set by Allah (swt), upright upon them and not transgressing them, rather there is a safe distance to kept away from them. . قُومُوا إِلَى جَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَوَاتُ : "فَدَنَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ، فَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَالأَرْضُ، قَالَ: يَ قُولُ عُمَيْ رُ بْنُ الْحُمَامِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، جَنَّةٌ عَرْضُهَا مَا يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى : السَّمَوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ ؟ قَالَ: نَ عَمْ، قَالَ: بَخٍ بَخٍ، فَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَ وْلِكَ بَخٍ بَخٍ ؟ قَالَ لاَ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِلاَّ رَجَاءَةَ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا، قَالَ: فَإِنَّكَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا، فَأَخْرَجَ تَمَرَاتٍ مِنْ قَ رَنِهِ فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْ هُنَّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَئِنْ أَنَا حَيِيتُ حَ تَّى آكُلَ تَمَرَاتِي هَذِهِ إِن هََّا لَحَيَاةٌ طَوِيلَةٌ، قَالَ: فَ رَمَى بِمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ التَّمْرِ ثُمَّ قَاتَ لَهُمْ حَ تَّى قُتِلَ " .

. قُومُوا إِلَى جَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَوَاتُ : "فَدَنَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ، فَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَالأَرْضُ، قَالَ: يَ قُولُ عُمَيْ رُ بْنُ الْحُمَامِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، جَنَّةٌ عَرْضُهَا مَا يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى : السَّمَوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ ؟ قَالَ: نَ عَمْ، قَالَ: بَخٍ بَخٍ، فَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَ وْلِكَ بَخٍ بَخٍ ؟ قَالَ لاَ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِلاَّ رَجَاءَةَ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا، قَالَ: فَإِنَّكَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا، فَأَخْرَجَ تَمَرَاتٍ مِنْ قَ رَنِهِ فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْ هُنَّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَئِنْ أَنَا حَيِيتُ حَ تَّى آكُلَ تَمَرَاتِي هَذِهِ إِن هََّا لَحَيَاةٌ طَوِيلَةٌ، قَالَ: فَ رَمَى بِمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ التَّمْرِ ثُمَّ قَاتَ لَهُمْ حَ تَّى قُتِلَ " .

“যখন মুশরিকরা কাছে এসে পৌঁছাল, আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ বললেন, "এখন উঠো এবং সেই জান্নাতের দিকে অগ্রসর হও যার প্রশস্ততা আসমান ও যমীনের সমান।" 'উমাইর ইবনুল হুমাম (রাযিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, "জান্নাত কি আসমান ও যমীনের সমান প্রশস্ত?" আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ ইতিবাচকভাবে উত্তর দিলেন। 'উমাইর বললেন, "বাহ্!" আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, কিসে তাকে এমন বলতে উদ্বুদ্ধ করেছে। তিনি বললেন, "কিছু নয়, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! শুধু এই আশা যে আমি জান্নাতবাসীদের একজন হতে পারি।" আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ বললেন, "নিশ্চয়ই তুমি তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।" এরপর 'উমাইর তার তূণ থেকে কিছু খেজুর বের করে খেতে লাগলেন, কিন্তু কিছুক্ষণ পর তিনি বললেন, "যদি আমি আমার খেজুরগুলো খাওয়া পর্যন্ত বেঁচে থাকি, তবে তা হবে দীর্ঘ জীবন।" তাই তিনি তার সাথে থাকা খেজুরগুলো ফেলে দিলেন এবং শত্রুর সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে করতে শহীদ হলেন।” যুদ্ধে উৎসাহ দানের প্রমাণ: আল্লাহ (সুবহানাহু ওয়া তা'আলা) বলেন:

“When the polytheists came near, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) (PBUH) said, "Now stand up and proceed towards Jannah which is as wide as are the heavens and the earth." 'Umair bin Al-Humam (May Allah be pleased with him) asked: "Is Jannah as wide as are the heaven and the earth?" The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) replied in the affirmative. 'Umair remarked: "Great!" The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) asked him what had urged him to say so. He replied: "Nothing, O Messenger of Allah! But hope that I might become one of the inhabitants of Jannah." The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "You will definitely be among them." 'Umair then took some dates out of his quiver and began to eat them, but after a short time he said: "If I survive till I eat my dates, it will mean a long life." So he threw away the dates which he had with him and then fought with the enemy till he was killed.” The evidence of encouragement to fight: Allah (swt) said.
