Die Schönheit des Islam liegt darin, dass er für die gesamte Menschheit gekommen ist. Er ist nicht auf ein bestimmtes Volk oder einen bestimmten Ort beschränkt. Das Vorbild für die Menschheit ist der Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Nach ihm wird kein neuer Prophet oder Gesandter mehr kommen.

The beauty of Islam is that it has come for the whole of mankind. It is not restricted to any particular people or place. The example for humanity is the Prophet Muhammad (saw). No new prophet or messenger will come again.

Die Eignung des Islam für alle Völker bedeutet, dass er auch Nicht-Muslimen Rechte und Pflichten gibt. Unter einem islamischen System können Nicht-Muslime ihre persönlichen Glaubensvorstellungen in Bezug auf Lebensmittel, Heiratsbräuche und Gottesdienste frei ausüben. Innerhalb des Staates gilt natürlich: In der Gesellschaft und im öffentlichen Raum wird jeder nach dem islamischen Recht behandelt, und die Scharia wird über alle angewandt, und zwar in ihrer Eigenschaft als Bürger des Staates.

The suitability of Islam for all peoples means that it gives rights and duties to non-Muslims as well. Under an Islamic System non-Muslims can freely practice their individual beliefs related to foodstuffs, marriage customs and worships. Of course within the State, when in society and the public domain, everyone will be treated according to Islamic Law and the Shari‘ah will be administered over everyone, in their capacity as citizens of the State.

Tatsächlich hatte die erste islamische Gesellschaft, die in Madinah errichtet wurde, anfangs eine Mehrheit nichtmuslimischer Bürger. Doch als die Menschen die Schönheit des islamischen Systems in seiner Anwendung erlebten, strömten sie in Scharen zum Islam. Außerdem muss betont werden, dass die Schönheit und Gerechtigkeit des Islam nur dann wirklich erfahren und sichtbar werden können, wenn die Scharia in ihrer Gesamtheit umgesetzt wird. Denn die verschiedenen Systeme des Islam sind untrennbar miteinander verbunden und wirken zusammen, um das vollkommene Gleichgewicht herzustellen. So gehört es etwa zu den grundlegenden Pflichten des islamischen Wirtschaftssystems, die Versorgung jedes Bürgers des Kalifats mit Nahrung, Kleidung und Unterkunft sicherzustellen. Dies erfordert, dass auch andere Bereiche und Systeme umgesetzt werden, etwa dass landwirtschaftlich nutzbares Land bestellt wird oder dass das Herrschaftssystem eine angemessene Infrastruktur bereitstellt.

Indeed, the first Islamic society established in Madinah had initially a majority number of non-Muslim citizens. However, once they had witnessed the beauty of the Islamic system being applied, people flocked to embrace Islam in droves. In addition, it must be stressed that the beauty and justice of Islam can only be truly witnessed and manifested when the Shari‘ah is implemented in its totality. For the different systems of Islam are intrinsically linked together and work together to make the perfect balance. For example, in the Islamic Economic System one of its fundamental duties is to ensure the provision of food, clothing and shelter for every citizen of the Khilafah. This necessitates other aspects and systems being implemented also, such as agricultural land being cultivated, or the ruling system providing adequate infrastructure.

Oder nehmen wir das islamische Strafsystem. Eine der Bedingungen für das Abschlagen der Hand des Diebes lautet, dass sie nicht abgeschlagen werden darf, wenn die Person aus Nnahrungsnot stiehlt, also aufgrund von Hunger. Diese wesentliche Bestimmung sollte durch das islamische Wirtschaftssystem gewährleistet werden. Daher ist eine teilweise oder schrittweise Umsetzung des Islam ungültig und wird den Menschen keinerlei Sicherheit oder Gerechtigkeit bieten.

Or take the Islamic Punishment System. One of the conditions for cutting the thief’s hand is that it cannot be cut if the person steals for food, i.e. due to hunger. This essential provision should be guaranteed by the Islamic Economic System. Hence, partial or gradual implementation of Islam is invalid and will not provide any kind of security or justice to the people.

Die Systeme des Islam gleichen einem Baum mit vielen Ästen. Obwohl jedes System wie ein Ast eigenständig und einzigartig ist, bilden sie alle einen Teil eines größeren Ganzen, nämlich der vollständigen islamischen Lebensweise.

The Systems of Islam are like a tree, with many branches. Although each system is like a branch, different and unique, they all constitute one part of a greater whole, which is the complete Islamic way of life.

Die Verantwortung der Muslime heute, und tatsächlich der gesamten Menschheit, besteht darin, das Verständnis der islamischen Lebensweise erneut zu suchen, damit sie auf der Erde angewendet werden kann. Viele Menschen mögen sich dessen nicht bewusst sein, was den Islam in Bezug auf Bildung, Herrschaft, Wirtschaft, soziale und rechtliche Angelegenheiten betrifft. Es ist daher unerlässlich, dass wir alle aufrichtig den Islam und seine umfassende Natur in allen Lebensbereichen erforschen. Dieses Wissen wird den Muslimen Zuversicht geben, dass der einzige Weg für die Menschheit das System des Schöpfers ist, Allah (SWT) – der Islam.

The responsibility for Muslims today, and indeed the whole of mankind is to once again seek the understanding of the Islamic way of life so that it can be applied in the earth. Many people may not be aware of Islam as regards education, ruling, economics, social and judicial affairs. It is thus imperative that we all find out sincerely about Islam and its comprehensive nature pertaining to all spheres of life. This knowledge will give confidence to Muslims that the only way for humanity is the system of the Creator, Allah (swt) - Islam.
