Убеждённость человека в важности международной торговли укрепляется ожесточённой борьбой и острой конкуренцией между сверхдержавами за приобретение новых рынков и защиту старых рынков, на которые они сбывают свои товары и из которых беспрепятственно импортируют сырьё. Международная торговля обладает множеством отличительных особенностей, достоинств и результатов. Основная причина возникновения международной торговли — различие в относительных издержках производства товаров между одной страной и другой. Поэтому в интересах всех стран установить между собой международную торговлю, как только относительные издержки в каждой стране окажутся различными.

What adds to a person’s conviction about the importance of international trade is the ferocious fighting and fierce competition between the superpowers over the acquisition of new markets and the protection of old markets, to which their merchandise is disposed of, and from which they import raw materials without obstacle. International trade has a host of distinguishing features, merits and outcomes. The main reason behind the establishment of international trade is the disparity in the proportional costs of commodities between one country and another. It would therefore be in the interest of all countries to establish international trade between them once the proportional costs differed in each country.
