हर माता-पिता अपने बच्चों के भविष्य को लेकर चिंतित रहते हैं। हमारा सपना होता है कि हमारी संतान जीवन में सफल हो और उसमें एक अच्छे इंसान के गुण हों। हम आशा करते हैं कि वे अपने करियर में कामयाब होने के साथ-साथ अपने माता-पिता के प्रति कर्तव्यनिष्ठ, आज्ञाकारी और आदर करने वाले भी बनें।

All parents worry about their children’s future. We have a vision that our offspring will be successful in life, and will possess the characteristics of a good person. We hope they will, along with becoming accomplished in their careers, be dutiful, obedient and respectful of their parents.

इसलिए, हम स्कूल में उनकी उपस्थिति और उनके रवैये को लेकर सजग रहते हैं। इसके साथ-साथ हम यह सुनिश्चित करते हैं कि वे मस्जिद में स्कूल के बाद होने वाली कक्षाओं में भाग लें। हम यह सब इसलिए करते हैं क्योंकि स्वाभाविक रूप से हमें लगता है कि हमारे बच्चों की शिक्षा सबसे अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है।

Therefore, we are particular about their attendance and attitude towards school. As well as this we ensure that they attend after school lessons in the mosque. We do all this because naturally we feel that the education of our children is of the utmost importance.

हमारी चिंताओं के बावजूद, हम देखते हैं कि हमारे युवा हमारी अपेक्षाओं से कहीं अधिक पीछे रह जाते हैं। बहुत से लोगों की जीवनशैली दुर्व्यवहार, अनादर और स्वार्थ से पहचानी जाती है। वे अपने ही बनाए नियमों पर चलते हैं, और दूसरों का बहुत कम या बिल्कुल ध्यान नहीं रखते। ऐसा क्यों हुआ है?

Despite our concerns, we see more and more of our youth falling far short of our expectations. The lifestyles of so many are characterised by misbehaviour, disrespect and selfishness. They live by their own rules, with little or no consideration for others. Why has this happened?

आइए देखें कि गैर-इस्लामी शिक्षा प्रणाली के तहत आपके बच्चे वास्तव में किस चीज़ के संपर्क में आ रहे हैं। एक पश्चिमी स्कूल में एक मुस्लिम बच्चे (शायद आपके अपने बच्चे) के एक सामान्य दिन पर विचार कीजिए। आप अपने बच्चे को छोड़ते हैं, इस संतोष के साथ कि वह एक सुरक्षित और निश्चिंत माहौल में प्रवेश करने वाला है। क्या आपकी यह धारणा सही है? क्या हम सचमुच जानते हैं कि कक्षा के दरवाज़े बंद होने के बाद हमारे बच्चे के साथ क्या होता है?

Let us see exactly what your children are being exposed to under a non-Islamic education system. Consider a typical day in the life of a Muslim child (perhaps your child) in a western school. You drop off your child, feeling satisfied that they are about to enter an environment that is safe and secure. Is your assumption accurate? Do we really know what happens to our child once the classroom doors have been shut?

पहला पाठ शायद भूगोल होगा। आपके बच्चे को विभिन्न देशों के बारे में पढ़ाया जाएगा: उसके संसाधन, जनसंख्या, लोग और संस्कृति, भाषा, राष्ट्रीय ध्वज आदि। और इनमें से कई अनिवार्य रूप से मुस्लिम देशों के होंगे। यह सब काफ़ी हानिरहित लगता है, जब तक आप यह नहीं समझते कि इस्लाम इनमें से अधिकतर देशों को वैध देश के रूप में मान्यता नहीं देता। इस्लाम मुसलमानों को एक ही उम्मत के रूप में देखता है, जो इन राष्ट्रीय पहचानों से बँटी हुई नहीं है, और ये राष्ट्रीय पहचानें मुसलमानों के बीच फूट डालने के लिए बनाई गई हैं। अल्लाह (SWT) फ़रमाता है,.

Perhaps the first lesson is geography. Your child will be taught about the different countries : its resources, population, peoples and culture, language, its national flag etc.... And many of these will inevitably be of Muslim countries. It all seems quite harmless until you realise that Islam does not recognise most of these countries as legitimate countries. Islam looks to the Muslims as one nation not separated by these national identities which have been designed to cause disunity amongst the Muslims. Allah (swt) says,.

“और तुम सब मिलकर अल्लाह की रस्सी को मज़बूती से थामे रहो और आपस में विभाजित न हो।” [TMQ 3:103]

“And hold fast all of you together to the rope of Allah and do not be divided.” [TMQ 3:103].

आपका बच्चा इस्लाम से अलग कोई पहचान विकसित कर सकता है - एशियाई, अरब या अश्वेत पहचान, या बांग्लादेशी, पाकिस्तानी या भारतीय पहचान - बजाय इसके कि वह मुसलमान, अल्लाह का बंदा हो, जो अल्लाह में विश्वास से एकजुट हो।

Your child may develop an identity other than that of Islam - an Asian, Arab or Black identity, or a Bangladeshi, Pakistani or Indian identity, rather than being Muslim, slave of Allah, unified by the belief in Allah.

अगला पाठ शायद दैनिक दिनचर्या में विज्ञान का होगा। आप चाहते हैं कि आपका बच्चा विज्ञान में ऐसी समझ हासिल करे जो उसके भविष्य के करियर को आगे बढ़ाए। लेकिन यह भूलना आसान है कि इस विषय में सिखाई जाने वाली कई बातें इस्लामी आस्था के सीधे विरोध में हैं।

Maybe the next lesson in the daily routine will be science. You expect your child to gain an understanding in science that will further his/her future career. But it is easy to forget that many of the ideas taught in this subject are in direct contradiction to the Islamic belief.

आखिरकार, बहुत-सी ऐसी धारणाएँ, परिकल्पनाएँ और अटकलें, जिनका कोई ठोस प्रमाणिक आधार नहीं है और जिन पर विशेषज्ञों के बीच मतभेद है, उन्हें इस तरह पढ़ाया जाता है मानो वे सिद्ध तथ्य हों।

After all, many theories, hypotheses and speculations, which have no firm foundation on evidence and which are subject to dispute among experts are taught as if they are established facts.

विकासवाद का सिद्धांत यह सुझाव देता है कि मनुष्य वानरों से विकसित हुए। ऊर्जा संरक्षण का सिद्धांत यह प्रस्तावित करता है कि ऊर्जा शाश्वत है (न तो नष्ट की जा सकती है, न ही बनाई जा सकती है, बल्कि केवल रूपांतरित होती है)। मनुष्य को पशुओं के समान श्रेणी में रखा जाता है (केवल एक अधिक उन्नत पशु होने में भिन्न)। जल चक्र को एक स्व-निर्भर प्रणाली के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया जाता है। ये सभी विचार बुनियादी इस्लामी सिद्धांतों के विपरीत हैं, जैसे कि यह कि अल्लाह (SWT) सब कुछ का सृष्टिकर्ता और पालनहार है।

The Theory of Evolution suggests that humans evolved from apes. The principle of Conservation of Energy proposes that energy is eternal (cannot be destroyed or created, but just transformed). Humans are put in the same category as animals (differing by being just a more advanced animal). The water cycle is presented as a self-subsisting system. All of these ideas contradict basic Islamic principles e.g. that Allah (swt) is the Creator and the sustainer of everything.

पश्चिमी विज्ञान के रवैये सृष्टिकर्ता के स्थान के लिए ही ख़तरा हैं। इनमें से कौन-सा झूठा और निराधार विचार आज आपके बच्चे को पढ़ाया जा रहा है? ये विचार आपके बच्चे के अल्लाह में विश्वास पर कैसा असर डालेंगे?

Attitudes in Western science threatens the very status of the Creator. Which of these false and baseless ideas is your child being taught today? How will these ideas affect your child’s belief in Allah?

आपके बच्चे की इतिहास की पढ़ाई के बारे में क्या? जो इतिहास पढ़ाया जाता है वह केवल पश्चिम का है; उसके युद्ध, उसका राजनीतिक विकास, उसकी उपलब्धियाँ, खोजें और आविष्कार आदि। इस्लाम को कोई महत्वपूर्ण इतिहास रखने वाला नहीं माना जाता, और विश्व पर उसका थोड़ा ही प्रभाव समझा जाता है। उसकी गौरवगाथाओं को विश्व-इतिहास का बस एक ऐसा प्रसंग बताया जाता है जो अब समाप्त हो चुका है। इसके अलावा, उसे एक ऐसे धर्म के रूप में पढ़ाया जाता है जो निर्दोषों को दबाता और उन पर अत्याचार करता है। आपका बच्चा रोमनों के बारे में मुसलमानों से अधिक सीखेगा। वह पूँजीवाद के नाम पर लड़े गए युद्धों और लड़ाइयों के बारे में, अल्लाह की राह में मुसलमानों द्वारा लड़े गए युद्धों की तुलना में, अधिक जानेगा।

What about your child’s history lessons? The only history that is taught is that of the West; its wars, its political development, its achievements, discoveries and inventions etc... Islam is not considered as having any important history, having little effect on the world. Its glories are portrayed as just an episode of world history that is now over. Moreover it is taught as a religion that subjugates and oppresses the innocent. Your child will learn more about the Romans than of the Muslims. They will learn more about the wars and battles fought in the way of Capitalism rather than the wars fought by the Muslims in the way of Allah.

शारीरिक शिक्षा (PE की कक्षाएँ) के बारे में क्या? इस्लाम मुसलमानों पर ऐसे पहनावे के नियम का पालन करना अनिवार्य करता है जो शालीनता को बढ़ावा देता है। अल्लाह (SWT) क़ुरआन में कहता है:

What about Physical Education (PE lessons)? Islam obliges Muslims to conform to a code of dress that proffers modesty. Allah (swt) says in the Qur’an :

"हे आदम की संतानो! हमने निश्चय ही तुम्हारे लिए ऐसे वस्त्र उतारे हैं जो तुम्हारी शर्मगाहों को ढकते हैं और शोभा के लिए हैं, और तक़वा (ईश-भय) का वस्त्र - वह सबसे उत्तम है।" [TMQ 7:26]

“O children of Adam! We have indeed sent down to you clothing to cover your shame and for beauty, and dress of piety - that is best.” [TMQ 7:26].

आपके बच्चे से ऐसे कपड़े पहनने को कहा जा सकता है जो इस्लाम के अनुसार उनके शरीर को पर्याप्त रूप से नहीं ढकते। क्या आप जानते हैं कि अधिकांश शावर सामूहिक होते हैं, जहाँ बच्चे पूरी तरह नग्न होते हैं?

Your child may be told to wear clothing that does not cover them adequately according to Islam. Are you aware that most of the showers are communal, where children are completely naked?

बच्चे की धार्मिक शिक्षा (RE) की कक्षाओं में इस्लाम की तुलना ईसाई धर्म, यहूदी धर्म, हिंदू धर्म, सिख धर्म आदि जैसे धर्मों से की जाती है। इस प्रकार इस्लामी आस्था की विशिष्टता सामने नहीं लाई जाती, बल्कि उसे कमतर करके दिखाया जाता है। यहाँ तक कि इस्लाम को एक "धर्म" कहना भी सटीक नहीं है, क्योंकि इस्लाम एक संपूर्ण जीवन-पद्धति है, जो व्यक्तिगत इबादत से लेकर राज्य में जीवन के मामलों के शासन तक, जीवन के हर पहलू को समेटती है।

In your child’s religious education (RE) lessons Islam is compared to the likes of religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism etc. The uniqueness of the Islamic belief is not presented but is diminished. Even labelling Islam as a religion is not accurate since Islam is a comprehensive way of life, covering all aspects from personal worship to governing lifes affairs in a state.

भ्रष्टाचार कक्षा तक ही सीमित नहीं रहता। कक्षाओं के बीच में, आपका बच्चा अपना अधिकतर समय खेल के मैदान या साझा कक्ष में बिताता है, जहाँ बच्चे नवीनतम पॉप-सितारों, फ़िल्मों, अभिनेताओं और अभिनेत्रियों, फ़ुटबॉल खिलाड़ियों के बारे में चर्चा करते हैं; उन्हें इस हद तक आदर्श मानते हैं कि उनकी नक़ल करने लगते हैं। अब मुहम्मद ﷺ और सहाबा (रज़ि०) को आदर्श के रूप में नहीं देखा जाता, बल्कि उनकी जगह मैडोना, माइकल जैक्सन, टेक दैट, गैज़ा आदि ने ले ली है...

The corruption does not end in the classroom. In between lessons, your child spends much of his/her time in the playground or common room, where children discuss the latest pop-stars, films, actors and actresses, footballers; idolising them to the point of emulating them. No longer are Muhammad (saw) and the Sahabah (ra) seen as the role models, but they have been replaced by the likes of Madonna, Michael Jackson, Take That, Gazza etc...

यहाँ तक कि भोजनालयों में तैयार किया गया भोजन भी इस्लामी आहार संबंधी आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप नहीं होता (जैसे गैर-हलाल मांस, सूअर का मांस आदि)।

Even in the dining rooms, the food that is prepared does not conform to the Islamic dietary requirements (e.g. non-halal meat, pork etc.).

शायद आप अपने बच्चों के लिए किसी मुस्लिम स्कूल पर विचार कर रहे हैं। क्या इससे आपकी समस्या हल हो जाएगी? क्या आपके बच्चे को भ्रष्टाचार से सुरक्षा की गारंटी मिलेगी? दुर्भाग्य से, किसी भी स्कूल को संचालन की अनुमति पाने के लिए कानूनन राष्ट्रीय पाठ्यक्रम पढ़ाना अनिवार्य है। ऊपर बताए गए अधिकांश खतरे उसी पाठ्यक्रम से पढ़ाने वाले किसी भी स्कूल पर लागू होंगे।

Perhaps you are considering a Muslim school for your children. Will this solve your problem? Will your child be guaranteed protection against corruption? Unfortunately the National Curriculum has by law to be taught in any school for it to gain permission to operate. Most of the above dangers will apply to any school that teaches from the same curriculum.

इसके अलावा, शिक्षा केवल स्कूल में ही नहीं होती। समाज स्वयं आपके बच्चे की शिक्षा में एक बड़ी भूमिका निभाता है। इसे एक बड़े स्कूल के रूप में समझा जा सकता है: ब्लैकबोर्ड, शिक्षकों और कक्षाओं के बजाय, समाज टेलीविज़न, रेडियो, विज्ञापन, होर्डिंग या बच्चों की पत्रिकाओं के माध्यम से आपके बच्चे को गैर-इस्लामी प्रथाएँ सिखाता है। आपका बच्चा धीरे-धीरे आपसे, अपने माता-पिता से, और इस्लाम से दूर होता जा सकता है। वह गैर-इस्लामी चीज़ों से अधिक परिचित और अभ्यस्त हो सकता है।

Moreover, education does not only happen in the school. Society itself plays a major role in educating your child. It can be thought of as a bigger school : instead of using blackboards, teachers and classrooms, society employs television, radio, advertising, billboards or children’s magazines to educate your child with un-Islamic practices. Your child may grow increasingly alienated from you, the parent, and Islam. He or she may become more aware and accustomed to non-Islam.

इस्लामी राज्य में आपके बच्चे की शिक्षा में क्या अंतर होगा? क्या आपका बच्चा बिना किसी बिगाड़ के अपने दीन को जानते हुए बड़ा होगा?

How will the Islamic State differ in the education of your child? Will your child grow to know his/her deen without corruption?

सबसे पहले, आपके बच्चे की शिक्षा निःशुल्क होगी, क्योंकि प्राथमिक और माध्यमिक स्तर पर हर पुरुष और महिला को निःशुल्क शिक्षा देना राज्य का कर्तव्य है, जो एक बुनियादी आवश्यकता है। राज्य के हर नागरिक को उस शिक्षा से सुसज्जित किया जाना चाहिए जो जीवन के हर पहलू में आवश्यक है। एक इस्लामी पाठ्यक्रम होगा जिसका उद्देश्य आपके बच्चे में इस्लामी मानसिकता और इस्लामी स्वभाव (यानी रुचियाँ) विकसित करना होगा। इस तरह न केवल आपके बच्चे के कार्य इस्लाम द्वारा आकार लेंगे, बल्कि उसकी पसंद और नापसंद भी इस्लाम के अनुरूप होंगी। स्कूल के कारण उन्हें हलाल और हराम की समझ होगी और वे उत्साह के साथ उनका पालन करेंगे।

Firstly, your child’s education would be free since it is the State’s duty to provide, as a basic necessity, free education for every male and female at primary and secondary levels. Every citizen of the State must be provided with education of that which is needed in all aspects of life. There would exist an Islamic curriculum with the objective of building the Islamic mentality and Islamic disposition (i.e. inclinations) in your child. So not only would your child’s actions be shaped by Islam but also their likes and dislikes would be in accordance with Islam. They should as a result of school understand the halal and the haram and follow them with enthusiasm.

अब एक समान परिदृश्य पर विचार करें जैसा ऊपर था। मान लीजिए आपका बच्चा इस्लामी राज्य के एक स्कूल में पहुँचता है और दिन की शुरुआत अपने सहपाठियों और शिक्षकों को इस्लाम के अभिवादन से करता है। बच्चे का पहला पाठ शायद विज्ञान का कोई विषय होता है। यह प्रायोगिक या शुद्ध विज्ञानों में से कोई भी हो सकता है। उसे इस्लामी 'अक़ीदा (आस्था) को आधार और सर्वोपरि मार्गदर्शक मानकर पढ़ाया जाता। एक अभिभावक के रूप में आप निश्चिंत रह सकते हैं कि विकासवाद का सिद्धांत नहीं पढ़ाया जाएगा; मनुष्य को उन्नत पशु नहीं माना जाएगा; और बिग बैंग सिद्धांत को तथ्य के रूप में नहीं पढ़ाया जाएगा। अल्लाह (سبحانه وتعالى) कहता है, "परन्तु उनमें से अधिकतर लोग केवल अनुमान का अनुसरण करते हैं। निश्चय ही अनुमान सत्य के मुकाबले में कुछ काम नहीं आता।" [TMQ 10:37]।

Let us consider a similar scenario as above. Your child arrives at a school in the Islamic State, and begins the day by greeting his/her colleagues and teachers with the greeting of Islam. Your child has the first lesson, perhaps a science subject. It could be a selection of the experimental or pure sciences. It would be taught with the Islamic ‘aqeedah (belief) as the basis and an overriding guide. You as the parent, could rest assured that ideas such as the Theory of Evolution would not be taught; humans would not be considered as advanced animals; the Big Bang Theory would not be taught as fact. Allah (swt) says, “But most of them follow nothing but conjecture. Truly conjecture can be of no avail.” [TMQ 10:37].
