कंपनियों के कर्मचारियों और व्यक्तियों द्वारा नियुक्त कर्मचारियों के वही अधिकार और कर्तव्य हैं जो राज्य के कर्मचारियों के हैं। जो भी व्यक्ति मज़दूरी पर काम करता है, चाहे काम की प्रकृति कुछ भी हो, उसे कर्मचारी माना जाता है। यदि नियोक्ता और कर्मचारी के बीच वेतन के स्तर को लेकर विवाद हो, तो वेतन के स्तर का निर्धारण बाज़ार के आधार पर किया जाएगा। यदि वे किसी अन्य विषय पर असहमत हों, तो रोज़गार अनुबंध का मूल्यांकन शरीयत के नियमों के अनुसार किया जाएगा।

Company employees and those employed by individuals have the same rights and duties as employees of the State. Everyone who works for a wage, irrespective of the nature of the work, is considered an employee. In matters of dispute between employers and employees over salary levels, the salary level is to be assessed on the basis of the market. If they disagree over something else, the employment contract is to be assessed according to the rules of the Shari’ah.

"और यदि वे तुम्हारे लिए दूध पिलाएँ, तो उन्हें उनका पारिश्रमिक दो।" (TMQ 65:6), और नबी ﷺ ने एक हदीस-ए-क़ुदसी में फ़रमाया:
