मुसलमानों में से बहुत से लोग भाग्यवाद (तक़दीर पर अंधा भरोसा कर बैठने) की बीमारी में ग्रस्त हो गए हैं। यह सर्वविदित है कि नबी ﷺ ने अनेक हदीसों में इस्लाम के पूरब और पश्चिम सहित पूरी दुनिया पर छा जाने की भविष्यवाणी की थी। ख़िलाफ़त की वापसी के बारे में भी बहुत सी रिवायतें मौजूद हैं। लेकिन कुछ लोगों के लिए ये रिवायतें निष्क्रियता का स्रोत बन गई हैं, जहाँ वे मुसलमानों को सलाह देते हैं कि ख़िलाफ़त की स्थापना के लिए राजनीतिक कदम न उठाएँ, बल्कि उसकी वादा की गई वापसी का इंतज़ार करें।

Many of the Muslims have been struck by the affliction of fatalism. It is well known that the Prophet (saw) in many hadeeth foretold the domination of Islam over the world, including both the East and the West. There are also many narrations speaking of the return of the Khilafah. However these narrations for some have become a source of apathy where they advise the Muslims that they should not undertake political actions in order to establish the Khilafah rather they should wait for its promised return.

हमें इस दृष्टिकोण की भूल को समझने की आवश्यकता है। इसके लिए अक़ीदah और अल्लाह (SWT) के वादों के बीच, तथा उन शरीयत के आदेशों के बीच जो मोमिन के कर्मों को प्रेरणा और दिशा देते हैं, एक स्पष्ट अंतर करना आवश्यक है।
