1 - यह मुहम्मद ﷺ की ओर से एक दस्तावेज़ है, जो क़ुरैश और यसरिब के मुसलमानों और ईमान वालों के बीच है, तथा उन लोगों के बीच जो उनके पीछे चले, उनसे जुड़े और उनके साथ मिलकर जिहाद किया, कि वे सब लोगों को छोड़कर एक ही उम्मत (राष्ट्र) हैं।

1 - This is a document from Muhammad, the Prophet (peace be upon him), between the Muslims and believers from Quraish and Yathrib, and those who followed them, joined with them and strove alongside them, that they are one single Ummah (nation) to the exclusion of all the people.

2- कुरैश के मुहाजिरीन अपनी दियत (खून-बहा) के मामलों में अपने पुराने, मान्य तरीके पर कायम हैं, और अपने बीच दियत के मामलों को निपटाने के लिए वे स्वयं ज़िम्मेदार हैं। और वे अपने बंदियों को उचित और न्यायपूर्ण आधार पर, मोमिनों के बीच इंसाफ़ के अनुसार, फ़िदया देकर छुड़ाते हैं।

2- The Muhajirun of the Quraish are upon their standard practise when dealing with their cases of blood money, responsible among themselves for dealing with their cases of blood money. And they ransom their captives on a reasonable fair basis and according to justice among the believers.

3- बनू औफ़ अपनी पुरानी प्रथा के अनुसार अपने खून-बहा (दियत) के मामलों के लिए स्वयं ज़िम्मेदार रहेंगे। हर समूह अपने बंदियों का फ़िदया उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच न्याय के अनुसार अदा करेगा।

3- Banu ‘Auf are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.

4- बनू अल-हारिस अपने पुराने रिवाज के अनुसार अपने खून-बहा (दियत) के मामलों की ज़िम्मेदारी संभालेंगे। हर समूह अपने बंदियों को उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच न्याय के अनुसार फ़िदया (छुड़ौती) देकर छुड़ाएगा।

4- Banu Al-Harith are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.

5- बनू साइदा अपनी स्थापित प्रथा के अनुसार अपने रक्त-धन (दियत) के मामलों की ज़िम्मेदारी निभाएँगे। हर समूह अपने बंदियों की फ़िदया (छुड़ौती) उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच न्याय के अनुसार अदा करेगा।

5- Banu Sa’idah are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.

6- बनू जुशम अपनी स्थापित प्रथा के अनुसार अपने खून-बहा (दियत) के मामलों के लिए ज़िम्मेदार हैं। हर समूह अपने बंदियों की फ़िदया (छुड़ौती) उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच न्याय के अनुसार अदा करेगा।

6- Banu Jusham are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.

7- बनू अन-नज्जार अपनी सामान्य प्रथा के अनुसार अपने खून-बहा (दियत) के मामलों को संभालने के लिए ज़िम्मेदार हैं। हर समूह अपने बंदियों को उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच न्याय के अनुसार फ़िदये (मुक्ति-मूल्य) देकर छुड़ाएगा।

7- Banu An-Najjar are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.

8- बनू 'अम्र बिन 'औफ़ अपनी पहले से चली आ रही प्रथा के अनुसार अपने खून-बहा के मामलों के लिए ज़िम्मेदार हैं। हर समूह अपने बंदियों की फ़िदया (छुड़ौती) उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच इंसाफ़ के अनुसार अदा करेगा।

8- Banu ‘Amr bin ‘Awf are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.

9- बनू अन-नबीत अपनी मानक प्रथा के अनुसार अपने खून-बहा (दियत) के मामलों को निपटाने के लिए ज़िम्मेदार हैं। हर समूह अपने बंधकों को उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच न्याय के अनुसार छुड़ाएगा।

9- Banu An-Nabit are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.

10- बनू औस अपनी पुरानी प्रथा के अनुसार अपने खून-बहा (दियत) के मामलों के लिए स्वयं जिम्मेदार हैं। हर समूह अपने बंदियों का फिरौती उचित आधार पर और मोमिनों के बीच न्याय के अनुसार छुड़ाएगा।

10- Banu Aws are upon their standard practise responsible for dealing with their cases of blood money. Each group will ransom their captives on a reasonable basis and according to justice among the believers.
