هناك هدفان رئيسيان للتعليم يجب مراعاتهما عند تحديد منهج التعليم وموضوعاته:

There are two leading goals of education that must be observed when setting the method and subjects of education:

بناءُ الشخصية الإسلامية، عقلاً ونفسيةً، لأبناء الأمة، وذلك بغرس الثقافة الإسلامية، من عقيدةٍ وأفكارٍ وسلوك، في عقول الطلاب ونفوسهم. ولذلك ينبغي أن يعتني المخوّلون في دولة الخلافة بوضع الأساليب وتطبيقها لتحقيق هذا الهدف.

Building the Islamic personality, the intellect and disposition (nafsiyyah), of the Ummah’s children via implanting the Islamic culture—’aqeedah, thoughts and behaviour—into the students’ intellects and disposition. Accordingly care must be taken by those authorised in the Khilafah State to set and implement methods to achieve this goal.

تربية أبناء المسلمين بحيث يصبح بعضهم علماءَ متخصصين في كل مجال من مجالات الحياة، سواءٌ في العلوم الإسلامية (الاجتهاد، والفقه، والقضاء وغيرها)، أو في العلوم التجريبية (الهندسة، والكيمياء، والفيزياء، والطب وغيرها)، علماءَ قادرين على حمل الدولة الإسلامية والأمة على أكتافهم، حتى تتبوأ الأمة المكانة الرائدة بين أمم العالم ودوله، وحتى تصبح الخلافة دولةً رائدةً مؤثرةً بمبدئها، لا دولةً تابعةً أو عميلةً في فكرها أو اقتصادها.

Preparing Muslim children such that some become scholars with expertise in every field of life whether in Islamic sciences (Ijtihad, Fiqh, Judiciary etc) or Empirical sciences (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Medicine etc). Scholars who are able to carry the Islamic State and Ummah upon their shoulders so as to gain the leading position among the world’s nations and states, such that the Khilafah becomes a leading and influential State based upon its ideology, and not a subordinate or agent State in its thought or economy.
