81 Abu Yousuf, Yakub Ibn Habib Ibn Ibraheem Al-Ansari. He lived between AH 113 and 182. Abu Yousuf was the student of Iman Abu Hanifah, the prominent scholar of the Hanafi school of thought. Abu Yousuf served as the chief judge for Harun Al-Rasheed. He wrote Al-Kharaj in response to a request from Caliph Harun Al-Rasheed who wanted a detailed reference of the economic principles and system in Islam.
